DAR Isabela celebrates its 50th PD and 34th CARP Anniversary
Cauayan City, Isabela - The Department of Agrarian Reform-Isabela (DAR-Isabela) commemorates the 50th anniversary of Presidential Decree No. 27 (PD 27) and the 34th anniversary of the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP) implementation with the theme “Tuloy ang Pag-Asa at Pag-Unlad Hatid ng Repormang Agraryo”. President Ferdinand Marcos Sr. issued PD 27 on September 21, 1972, and President Corazon Aquino approved the CARP statute on June 10, 1988. It aims to provide land ownership to landless farmers and farm labourers.

DARPO Isabela headed by Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer II Engr. Eunomio Jr. P Israel has lined up the following activities for the 34th CARP Anniversary cum Sportsfest and Team Building for DAR Isabela employees: June 13, 2022 – Hanging of CARP Anniversary Streamer; June 14, 2022 – ARBO/ARB Products Trade Fair; June 15, 2022 – SPLIT Field Activities and Agrarian Reform Program Cliniquing; June 16, 2022 – EP/CLOA Distribution per DARMO; June 17, 2022 – Motorcade, Thanksgiving Mass, Sportsfest, Team Building activities, and awarding of the Most Outstanding ARBs and ARBOs in the province of Isabela.
Winners are given cash prizes and certificates of recognition for their outstanding performances during the celebration.
