DAR distributes CLOA titles to Isabela farmers

Cauayan City, Isabela - The Department of Agrarian Reform in the province of Isabela distributed  42 Certificates of Land Ownership Award (CLOAs) covering 50.6143 hectars of agricultural lands to 34 farmer-beneficiaries in the barangays of Turod, Alunan, Arellano and Callangigan, Quezon, Isabela.

According to  Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer II Eunomio Jr. P. Israel “Pinalalawig at pinalalakas naming ang pagbibigay ng lupa sa mga kagaya ninyong masisipag at matiyagang mga magsasaka. Lalong lalo na dito sa ating probinsya na ang pangunahing pinagmumulan ng kita ay ang sakahan”.

Ngunit hindi dyan nagtatapos ang aming pagtulong sa inyo, dahil kami rin ay nagbibigay ng serbisyong pang-suporta sa mga benepisyaryo na miyembro ng kooperatibang aming tinutulungan at agrarian legal assistance upang matugunan ang mga pangagailangan at karapatan ninyo bilang isang agrarian reform beneficiary”, he added.

DAR projects and programs was also shared by CARPO LTID Engr. Nestor Gonzaga and CARPO PBD Engr. Cristeto Acoba Jr. Invited on the said activity was MAO Jose Loque Jr. of DA who shared the programs of the agency, Municipal Assessor Engr. Narciso Rosario who emphasized the importance of paying their taxes, and Municipal Mayor Jimmy Gamazon Jr. represented by his private secretary Arch. James Cortez who speaks on their full support to the agrarian reform beneficiaries in their municipality.

Meanwhile, the Program Beneficiaries Development Division under the supervision of Engr. Acoba assisted the new ARBs in joining the DAR-assisted cooperative in their municipality for them to take advantage of the benefits and privileges that come with being an ARB member in an organization.
