DAR, BJMP, ARBO ink marketing agreement to address hunger and poverty in Nueva Vizcaya

 

BAYOMBONG - In order to keep the zero hunger program initiative in the province of Nueva Vizcaya, the Department of Agrarian Reform – Nueva Vizcaya in partnership with the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology(BJMP) Solano and the Villaverde Development Cooperative(VILDECO) forged the marketing agreement in support to the Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty (EPAHP) program on August 3, 2022 at VILDECO Office, Brgy. Nagbitin, Villaverde, Nueva Vizcaya.

The EPAHP Program supports the government efforts to intensify the fight against hunger and reduce poverty across the country. And it also seeks to collaborate with various government and private organizations in order to provide and extend direct marketing connections and access for Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Organization (ARBO) to purchase their products directly.

Present during the signing ceremony were BJMP Solano District Jail headed by Supt. Crispin Dornagon Jr. and Asst. Jail Warden Aldrin Coma, Villaverde Development Coop. headed by Manager Ligaya Diozon & staff and BOD Chair M. Valdez, DAR PARPO II Engr. Rustico Turingan, PARPO I Cherry Magno and OIC Carpo for PBDD Edwin Algeria and EPAHP Provincial Point Person Noemi Anuma.
