DAR conducts farm business school course to 32 farmer entrepreneurs

BAYOMBONG - DAR Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer II Engr. Rustico R. Turingan said that this is one of the DAR's goals and initiatives to provide and educate farmers in modern agricultural methods and entrepreneurship skills so that they may transform their crops into more profitable and market-oriented products.


“The Depatment will continue to provide small farmers with the resources they needed to expand their potentials, educate them on the most effective marketing strategies, and increase their agricultural productivity.” PARPO II Turingan said.

According to OIC Chief- Program Beneficiaries Development Division Edwin C. Algeria, the 32 farmers who are members of the Sto. Domingo Agriculture Cooperative (SDAC) underwent 25 sessions from March to September of this year.

The graduates and the ARBO expressed their gratitude to the DAR family for its assistance and free trainings extended to them.

“We are grateful to DAR Secretary Conrado Estrella III, Regional Director Samuel S. Solomero and PARPO II Engr. Rustico R. Turingan and all the officials who contributed to the success of this program. May you continue to help us farmers by giving us support services, such as capability and development trainings, so that we may increase and improve our income, and will serve as our guide and direction in farming.” Gemma Galindez, ARB and one of the recipients, said during the ceremony.
