About 11,809 agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) in the Soccsksargen region would benefit from the Department of Agrarian Reform’s (DAR) registration of 11,548 electronic titles (e-titles), encompassing an area of 20,326.7181 hectares, in the provinces of the said region.

As of July 31, 2024 data revealed by DAR Soccsksargen, the successful registration of e-titles across the provinces of North Cotabato, South Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, and Sarangani. North Cotabato led with 4,909 e-titles covering 8,235 hectares, while South Cotabato followed with 2,702 e-titles for 4,438 hectares. Sultan Kudarat had 2,092 e-titles spanning 4,925 hectares, and Sarangani had 1,845 e-titles over 2,729 hectares.

The DAR Region XII achieved a major milestone by registering the highest number of e-titles in the Support to Parcelization of Lands for Individual Titling (SPLIT) Project

DAR XII Regional Director Mariannie Lauban-Baunto said this extensive registration effort would significantly improve the ARB’s land security, land ownership records and increase accessibility to land for local communities.

"This achievement reflected DAR Region XII’s dedication and ongoing efforts to improve the land tenure security of the ARBs. Because of the continuous support and commitment from the SPLIT central, regional, provincial, and municipal offices, DAR XII is making significant strides towards empowering and uplifting our beneficiaries,” she said.

Lauban-Baunto also encourages the men and women involved in this project to continue working together to ensure a brighter future for the ARBs and their communities.

The SPLIT Project, funded by the World Bank, aimed to give individual land titles to ARBs who were previously awarded collective Certificates of Land Ownership Award under the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP).

Noong Hulyo 31, 2024, sa datos na inilahad ng DAR Soccsksargen, matagumpay na nairehistro ang mga e-titles sa mga lalawigan ng North Cotabato, South Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, at Sarangani. Nangunguna ang North Cotabato na may 4,909 e-titles na may sakop na 8,235 ektarya, sinusundan ng South Cotabato na may 2,702 e-titles para sa 4,438 ektarya. Nakamit ng DAR Region XII ang napakalaking tagumpay na ito dahil sa pagrerehistro ng may pinakamataas na bilang ng e-titles sa ilalim ng Support to Parcelization of Lands for Individual Titling (SPLIT) Project

Ayon kay DAR XII Regional Director Mariannie Lauban-Baunto ang masusi at malawakang pagrerehistrong ito ay magpapabuti sa seguridad sa lupa ng mga ARB, gayundin sa talaan ng pagmamay-ari ng lupa at sa pagtaas ng kanilang accessibility sa lupa para sa mga lokal na komunidad.

"Sinasalamin ng tagumpay na ito ang dedikasyon at pagsisikap ng DAR Region XII upang mapagbuti ang seguridad sa lupa ng mga ARB. Dahil sa patuloy na suporta at pangako mula sa SPLIT central, regional, provincial, at municipal offices, ang DAR XII ay nagagawang mapalakas at mai-angat ang katayuan ng ating mga benepisyaryo,” aniya.

Hinikayat pa ni Lauban-Baunto ang mga nasa likuran ng proyektong ito na ipagpatuloy ang sama-samang pagsisikap upang matiyak ang magandang kinabukasan ng mga ARB at kanilang mga komunidad.

Ang SPLIT Project, na pinondohan ng World Bank, ay naglalayong mabigyan ng indibdwal na titulo ang mga ARB na dati nang tumanggap ng lupa sa ilalim ng collective Certificates of Land Ownership Award sa ilalim ng Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP).
