DAR empowers Sultan Kudarat farmers

The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) turns over support services initiatives to the agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) of the Lay Minister Farmers Consumers Cooperative (LAMFACCO) in Barangay Poblacion, Senator Ninoy Aquino, Sultan Kudarat.

The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) in Sultan Kudarat has provided more than P500,000 worth of support initiatives to the agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) of the Lay Minister Farmers Consumers Cooperative (LAMFACCO) in Barangay Poblacion, Senator Ninoy Aquino, Sultan Kudarat.

These initiatives, which are part of the DAR’s Village Level Farm-focused Enterprise Development Project, consist of training materials on Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices for Coffee, worth Php 42,000.00, and a renovated processing facility worth Php 498,513.00, aims to improve the livelihoods of ARBs.

Chief Agrarian Reform Program Officer Rhea Marie P Betque said this is DAR’s commitment to assist LAMFACCO in sustaining their livelihood by providing competitive ARBs’ products in the market and offering capacity-building training to enhance their skills and broadening their knowledge in farming and marketing their products.

“The said project aims to enhance rural enterprise development and provide more responsive and focused interventions to ARBs and ARB organizations,” she said.

Arnold O. Abayon, Chairman of LAMFAMCCO, expressed his sincerest gratitude to the DAR for their continuous support and assistance.

“Thank you to the DAR for the never-ending support and assistance. This support will help our organization improve. Be assured that we will do our best to make our organization prosper and be progressive,” he said.

Abayon added that this is DAR’s testament to their ongoing efforts to support and develop rural enterprises, ensuring that farmers receive the necessary initiatives to thrive in their agricultural endeavors.

DAR pinalalakas ang mga magsasaka ng Sultan Kudarat

Nagkaloob kamakailan ang Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) sa Sultan Kudarat ng mahigit P500,000 halaga ng suporta sa mga agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) ng Lay Minister Farmers Consumers Cooperative (LAMFACCO)ng Barangay Poblacion, Senator Ninoy Aquino, Sultan Kudarat.

Ang mga suportang ito, na bahagi ng Village Level Farm-focused Enterprise Development Project ng DAR, ay binubuo ng mga materyales sa pagsasanay sa Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices for Coffee, na nagkakahalaga ng Php 42,000.00, at isang inayos na processing facility na nagkakahalagang Php 498,513.00, ay naglalayong mapagbuti ang kabuhayan ng mga ARB.

Ayon kay Chief Agrarian Reform Program Officer Rhea Marie P Betque ito ay pangako ng DAR upang matulungan ang LAMFACCO sa pagpapanatili ng kanilang kabuhayan sa pamamagitan ngpagkakaloob ng kompetitibong produkto ng mga ARB sa merkado at pag-aalok ng mga pagsasanay upang mapahusay ang kanilang mga kakayahan at mapalawak ang ang kanilang mga kaalaman sa pagsasaka at pagbebenta ng kanilang mga produkto.

“Ang nasabing proyekto ay may layuning paunlaran ang rural enterprise development at magbigay ng mas tumutugon at nakatutok na interbensyon para sa mga ARBs atARB organizations,” aniya.

Nagpasalamat naman si Arnold O. Abayon, Chairman of LAMFAMCCO, sa patuloy na suporta at pag-alalay ng DAR sa kanila.

“Salamat sa DAR sa walang katapusang suporta at alalay. Malaki ang tulong ito sa pagpapaunlad sa aming samahan. Asahan ninyo na gagawin namin ang lahat upang umasenso at maging progresibo ang aming organisasyon,” aniya.

Idinagdag din ni Abayon na ito ay patunay ng DAR sa kanilang patuloy na pagsusumikap upang suportahan at paunlarin ang mga negosyo sa kanayunan, na tinitiyak na ang mga magsasaka ay makatatanggap ng mga inisyatibong kinakailangan upang sila ay umunlad sa kanilang mga gawaing pang-agrikultura.
