More than 50 agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) and residents from the adjacent barangays in Head-tipan, Mutia, Zamboanga del Norte will stand to benefit from the groundbreaking ceremony conducted by the Department of Agrarian Reform’s (DAR) in partnership with the local government of Mutia, for the construction of the ‘Tulay ng Pangulo para sa Kaunlarang Pang-agraryo’ (TPKP) bridge project.

Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer II Rizzel B. Villanueva said the bridge would connect the villages of barangay Diland and Head-tipan to the market centers and would benefit other neighboring towns and barangays in the area.

He said the project, which involves a nationwide construction of 418 builder unibridge from France, is a double lane modular steel unibridge with a total length of 28.8 linear meters and a width of 7 meters.

"I am anticipating that through this project, our ARBs will have better access to market their products and eventually increase their income and improve their lives," Villanueva said.

Villanueva led the laying of the capsule for the groundbreaking construction of the bridge that will link the town’s agrarian reform communities to the economic mainstream and open up development potentials in line with President Rodrigo Duterte’s ten (10) Point Agenda of job creation and decentralization of progress.

Mutia Municipal Mayor Lorrymir S. Adasa thanked the national government for the bridge despite the many challenges the country is facing.

Mahigit na limampung (50) agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) at residente sa lugar at mga karatig na mga barangays sa Head-tipan, Mutia, Zamboanga del Norte ang makikinabang sa isinagawang groundbreaking ceremony ng Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) at loka na pamahalaan ng Mutia, para sa pagpapatayo ng proyektong Tulay ng Pangulo para sa Kaunlarang Pang-agraryo (TPKP).

Ayon kay Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer II Rizzel B. Villanueva ang tulay ay magkokonekta sa mga barangay ng Diland at Head-tipan sa mga pamilihang bayan, at pakikinabangan ng iba pang mga karatig bayan at barangay sa naturang lugar.

Aniya, ang proyekto, na kasama sa pambansang konstruksyon ng 418 builder unibridge mula sa France, ay isang double lane modular steel unibridge na may kabuuang haba na 28.8 linear meter at may lapad na pitong (7) metro.

"Inaasahan ko na sa pamamagitan ng proyektong ito, ang aming mga ARBs ay magkakaroon ng mas maayos na daan sa paghatid ng kanilang mga produkto patungo sa merkado at sa kalaunan ay mapataas ang kanilang kita at mapabuti ang kanilang pamumuhay,’ ani Villanueva.

Pinangunahan ni Villanueva ang paghuhulog ng kapsula para sa groundbreaking ng pagtatayo ng tulay na mag-uugnay sa mga komunidad ng repormang agraryo ng bayan sa mainstream ng ekonomiya at magbubukas ng mga potensyal na pag-unlad alinsunod sa 10 Point Agenda ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ng paglikha ng trabaho at desentralisasyon ng pag-unlad.

Nagpasalamat si Mutia Municipal Mayor Lorrymir S. Adasa sa pamahalaan para sa tulay sa kabila ng maraming hamon na kinakaharap ng bansa.
