DAR, Project SPLIT conduct Year-End Assessment and Strategic Planning

Officials from the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) and staff from the Support to Parcelization of Lands for Individual Titling (SPLIT) Project convened for a two-day workshop in Dinadiawan, Aurora, to conduct a thorough Year-End Assessment and ProvincialFocused SPLIT Implementation Review.

Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer II (PARPO II), Jess Beth G. Quidasol, delivered an inspirational message, setting the tone for the discussions.

The event, designed for collaboration and planning, team building, group discussions, and workshops aimed to formulate strategies for the upcoming Calendar Year 2024.

The agenda included presentations of outputs, reports, and accomplishments, highlighting the strides made in line with administrative order no. 1 series of 2022 headed by Chief Agrarian Reform Program Officer (CARPO) Nestor B. Gonzaga. This order, which revised guidelines and procedures on the parcelization of land holdings with collective certificates of land ownership award, took center stage during the implementation review.

CARPO Cristeto Acoba, Jr. also gave an update about the status of Kobo Toolbox. It is an application that will be used by documenters.

The event not only served as a platform for reflection on the past year's achievements, but also as a catalyst for shaping the future direction of DAR initiatives.

The team spirit, coupled with strategic planning, ensures a robust framework for sustainable development and empowerment in the years to come.
