Boac, Marinduque – A total of 2,554 Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) in Marinduque will soon enjoy improved farming operations following the turnover of Php 6.4 million worth of farm machineries and equipment (FMEs) and organic farming inputs from the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR). The distribution ceremony was held at the Marinduque State University Gymnasium.
DAR MIMAROPA Regional Director Atty. Marvin V. Bernal led the distribution of 14 multi-tilling machines, three (3) hand tractors, eight (8) water pumps, 20 grass cutters and 2,350 packs of organic plant supplements to 33 ARB Organizations (ARBOs) across the province.

“We believe that empowering our ARBs is key to transforming their lives and uplifting their communities. When our rural areas thrive, the entire nation moves forward,” said Bernal.
One of the ARBO beneficiaries, the Bintakay Farmers Association has the largest number of members served under the program with 218 ARBs, expressed gratitude to the DAR for its support.
“Thank you very much. Receiving the organic fertilizer is a huge help to the Bintakay Farmers Association. We’re about to start planting vegetables now that we’ve just finished harvesting our rice. God bless you, and thank you again,” said Bintakay Farmers Association Chairperson Gilda Hirondo.
The distribution of FMEs and organic farm inputs forms part of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and DAR’s continuing support to agrarian reform communities (ARCs) to promote food security, promote sustainable farming and improve the livelihoods of Filipino farmers nationwide. Boac, Marinduque – Aabot sa 2,554 Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) sa Marinduque ang makikinabang sa Php 6.4 milyong halaga ng Farm Machineries and Equipment (FMEs) at organikong pataba na ipinamahagi ng Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR). Ginanap ang pamamahagi sa Marinduque State University Gymnasium.
Pinangunahan ni DAR MIMAROPA Regional Director Atty. Marvin V. Bernal ang pamamahagi ng 14 na multi-tilling machine, tatlong (3) hand tractor, walong (8) water pump, 20 grass cutter, at 2,350 pakete ng mga organikong pataba sa 33 ARB Organizations (ARBOs) sa buong lalawigan.
“Naniniwala kami na ang pagbibigay-lakas sa ating ARBs ang susi sa pagbabago ng kanilang buhay at sa pag-unlad ng kanilang komunidad. Kapag umunlad ang kanayunan, tiyak na uunlad din ang buong bansa,” ani Bernal.
Isa sa mga benepisyaryong ARBO, ang Bintakay Farmers Association, na may pinakamalaking bilang na 218 ARBs na kasapi na nakinabang sa programa ay nagpahayag ng pasasalamat sa mga suporta ng DAR.
“Maraming salamat po. Malaking tulong po sa Bintakay Farmers Association ang natanggap naming organikong pataba. Magsisimula na kaming magtanim ng gulay matapos naming anihin ang aming palay. Pagpalain kayong lahat. Maraming salamat muli,” pahayag ni Gilda Hirondo, Chairman ng Bintakay Farmers Association.
Ang pamamahagi ng FMEs at mga organikong pataba ay bahagi ng patuloy na suporta ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. at ng DAR sa agrarian reform communities (ARCs) upang palakasin ang seguridad sa pagkain, itaguyod ang maka-kalikasang pagsasaka at mapaunlad ang kabuhayan ng mga magsasakang Pilipino sa buong bansa.
