MANITO, Albay—The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Provincial Office in Albay has launched the Village Level Farm-Focused Enterprise Development (VLFED) Program in partnership with the Tinapian Farmers and Fishermen Multi-Purpose Cooperative (TFFMPC) to strengthen agro-enterprise in the municipality.

With a total funding of ₱680,000, the initiative aims to enhance the livelihood opportunities of agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) and local farmers. Of this amount, ₱500,000 will be allocated to upgrade processing facilities and equipment, while ₱180,000 will support capacity development programs.

To ensure the project’s smooth implementation, Agrarian Reform Officers Cecile O. Geronga and Irene P. Destajo met with the TFFMPC Board of Directors, led by Chairman Lolito C. Bayna, to discuss key program details. The team also engaged with Vice Mayor Carlito J. Belludon to strengthen local government support for the initiative.

In a separate meeting, Chief Agrarian Reform Program Officer Chito P. Molina paid a courtesy visit to Mayor Rebecca D. Chen and Acting Municipal Administrator Leandro G. Orense, aligning the VLFED program with the community’s development agenda.

Through this program, TFFMPC members will receive agro-enterprise training, including meat processing techniques and strategies to ensure raw material sustainability. These efforts will improve their longganisa and tocino production, fostering better income opportunities for farmers.

Through the leadership and legacy of then Undersecretary for Support Services Office Usec. Rowena Niña O. Taduran, the DAR Albay Provincial Office, particularly the Program Beneficiaries Division, remains committed to empowering ARBs and agrarian reform beneficiaries’ organizations (ARBOs) by providing sustainable rural enterprise development programs that drive agricultural progress.

MANITO, Albay—Inilunsad ng Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Provincial Office sa Albay ay nangunguna sa pagpapatupad ng Village Level Farm-Focused Enterprise Development (VLFED) Program katuwang ang Tinapian Farmers and Fishermen Multi-Purpose Cooperative (TFFMPC) upang palakasin ang agro-enterprise sa bayan ng Manito.

Sa kabuuang pondong ₱680,000, layunin ng inisyatiba na mapabuti ang mga oportunidad sa kabuhayan ng mga agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) at mga lokal na magsasaka. Mula sa halagang ito, ₱500,000 ang ilalaan para sa pagpapabuti ng mga pasilidad at kagamitan sa pagproseso, habang ang ₱180,000 ay susuporta sa mga programa sa pagpapaunlad ng kanilang kapasidad.

Upang matiyak ang maayos na pagpapatupad ng proyekto, nakipagpulong sina Agrarian Reform Officers Cecile O. Geronga at Irene P. Destajo sa Board of Directors ng TFFMPC, sa pangunguna ni Chairman Lolito C. Bayna, upang talakayin ang mga pangunahing detalye ng programa. Nakipag-ugnayan din ang grupo kay Vice Mayor Carlito J. Ang mga pagsisikap na ito ay magpapabuti sa kanilang produksyon ng longganisa at tocino, na magdudulot ng mas magandang kita para sa mga magsasaka.

Sa pamamagitan ng pamumuno at legacy ng noo’y Undersecretary for Support Services Office Usec. Rowena Niña O.
