The distribution of electronic land titles and Farm Machineries and Equipment (FMEs) to Solana, Cagayan ARBs and ARBOs to empower local farmers and enhance agricultural productivity in the province.

Solana, Cagayan – The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) continues to strengthen local farming communities in Cagayan through the distribution of electronic land titles (E-Titles) and modern Farm Machineries Equipment (FMEs) to Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs).

During a recent awarding ceremony, 12 ARBs received E-Titles under the Support to Parcelization of Lands for Individual Titling (Project SPLIT), covering a total of 21.3162 hectares. In addition, five (5) more ARBs received Regular Land Acquisition and Distribution (LAD) Titles for 3.4769 hectares. These titles secure individual land ownership for farmers, giving them legal rights and long-term stability.

The SPLIT Project aims to fast-track the subdivision of collective Certificates of Land Ownership Award (CLOAs) into individual titles, ensuring that each ARB gains clear, private ownership of their farmland.

To further support agricultural development, DAR also turned over a four-wheel drive tractor with a rotavator—worth P1.5 million—to the Solana West Farmers Cooperative. This high-powered equipment is expected to improve farm operations, increase productivity, and reduce labor costs, resulting in better incomes for farmer-members of the Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Organization (ARBO).

Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer (PARPO) II Val Cristobal emphasized that DAR’s support goes beyond land distribution.

“Providing modern FMEs empower our farmers to be more productive and competitive. This not only benefits their families but also contributes to food security and rural development,” Cristobal said.
