DAR-CAR SPLIT NEWS – The Department of Agrarian Reform – Cordillera Administrative Region (DAR-CAR), Registry of Deeds (ROD) representing CAR provinces, and Department of Environment and Resources (DENR-CAR) conducted the Synchronization and Integration of Policies and Strategies of DAR-DENR-ROD in the Implementation of Project SPLIT on April 4, 2024 at the Ritz Legarda Hotel, Baguio City.
This meeting aims to address any issues and concerns in the process of awarding individual land titles and C-Titles to Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs). The collaboration signifies a strategic move to simplify the titling process, ensuring a smoother path to land ownership of beneficiaries.
In her welcoming remarks, Assistant Regional Director (ARD) for Administration Virginia D. Aycud highlighted the collaborative spirit of the initiative, that it underscored the importance of teamwork and clear communication in achieving the objectives of the meeting.
DAR-CAR Regional Director (RD) Samuel S. Solomero said during his message, “Sana mas matulungan niyo kami sa pagrehistro ng mga titles nito para sa mga ARBs. And thank for ROD and DENR for helping us in reaching our accomplishments and from DAR-CAR we really appreciate all the effort you are giving us.” And that the outcomes of these dialogues are critical in shaping the path forward, aiming for solutions that are practical and beneficial for all involved.
For the closing message, DAR-CAR ARD for Operations Atty. Nelson D.C. Palaris said, “Fruitful ng ating results sa mga dialogue natin. Ang importante dito na-identify natin ang kailangan ng mga solusyon.”
Following the event, an executive committee meeting convened, involving the DAR-CAR RD, ARDs, and Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officers, to explore discussions further, aiming to pinpoint additional strategies to refine and improve initiatives.
