The Department of Agrarian Reform – Cordillera Administrative Region (DAR-CAR) Legal Division conducted the “Legal Group and SPLIT Project Team C.Y. 2024 2nd Quarter Assessment” from June 11-14, 2024, at Chalet Hotel, Baguio City. 

This activity fosters collaboration and knowledge sharing among the regional and provincal offices, ensuring consistent and effective implementation of agrarian reform laws. By addressing specific challenges and strategizing collectively, the event helps enhance service delivery to farmer beneficiaries, ultimately supporting their rights and welfare and promoting sustainable agricultural development.

In his messsage, DAR-CAR Regional Director Samuel S. Solomero commended the dedication of employees and stressed strategic planning to overcome challenges in serving Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs).

DAR-CAR Assistant Regional Director for Administration Virginia D. Aycud spoke about DAR-CAR’s achievements and encouraged the continuous service to Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries with pride and integrity.

DAR-CAR Legal Chief Atty. Christine Montes Pul-oc, gave the outline of the event which is to discuss the resolution of Agrarian Law Implementation (ALI) cases. 

The event was concluded with one-on-one sessions between Regional Legal Officers and CAR Provinces, including a detailed dialogue between DARPO-Abra and Atty. Pul-oc on SPLIT and Regular ALI Cases, LTAs, and Cancellation Cases.
