The Department of Agrarian Reform’s (DAR) Support to Operations Division (STOD) and the Project Support to Parcelization of Lands for Individual Titling (SPLIT) recently collaborated on a quarterly assessment and strategic planning session in Saguday, Quirino on May 28, 2024, with the aim of evaluating progresses, addressing challenges, and refining strategies for the upcoming quarter.

The collaborative effort emphasized the importance of continuous assessment and strategic planning in achieving DAR’s objectives. By working together, STOD and Project SPLIT aim to enhance the delivery of services to Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs), ensuring that land distribution and titling processes are carried out effectively and fairly.

Key officials, including Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer II (PARPO II) Jess Beth G. Quidasol, OIC PARPO I Severino D. Gabot, and OIC-Provincial Chief Administrative Officer (PCAO) Carmencita P. Alonzo, were in attendance. Their presence ensured a comprehensive review of the initiatives undertaken so far, contributing valuable insights and oversight.

During the session, participants reviewed the achievements of the previous quarter, identifying key successes and areas requiring improvement. They discussed the impact of current strategies and explored innovative approaches to overcome existing obstacles.

The session concluded with the formulation of an updated strategic plan, incorporating feedback from the assessment. The plan outlined the roadmap for the next quarter, focusing on targeted actions to address identified challenges and leverage opportunities for improvement.

DAR’s commitment to regular assessment and strategic planning underscores its dedication to empowering ARBs and promoting sustainable agricultural development. The collaborative efforts of STOD and Project SPLIT are pivotal in advancing these goals and forging a path towards the transformative implementation of agrarian reform initiatives.
