Recognizing the need to thresh-out issues and concerns affecting peace and order, security and public safety in the region, the Department of Agrarian Reform Regional Office 02 hosted the Cagayan Valley Regional Peace and Order Council (CV-RPOC) Meeting for 2nd Quarter CY 2024 on June 11, at the Tabones Hall, DAR R02 Compound, Tuguegarao City.
The CV-RPOC meeting serves as the government’s primary platform for enhancing collaboration between local government units (LGUs), law enforcement agencies, and the community in combating criminality, illegal drugs, insurgency, and violent extremism.
The said activity provided a platform for discussing various issues, exchanging insights and strategies, and presenting initiatives aimed at tackling the diverse challenges confronting the region.
The meeting was attended by Cagayan Governor Hon. Manuel N. Mamba M.D., DARR02 Regional Director Primo C. Lara, representatives and key officials of PDEA, OCD, OPAPRU,DOJ, DTI, DILG, PNP, DSWD, NICA, NCIP, DOH, BJMP, LTO, NBI, DA, PMS, provincial and municipal local executives and various government agencies.
