THE momentum to increase agricultural productivity is gaining more ground as the generation and distribution of individualized and new land titles accelerated after President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. assumed office on July 1, 2022.
As reported on the Department of Agrarian Reform’s (DAR) collated year-end data, the department has distributed a total of 194,111 Electronic Titles (e-Titles), Emancipation Patents (EPs), and Certificates of Land Ownership Award (CLOAs), covering 229,546 hectares of farmlands, to 186,290 Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) under the past two-and-a-half years in office of President Marcos Jr.

Department of Agrarian Reform Secretary Conrado Estrella III noted the big improvement in the distribution of land titles under the Marcos Jr. administration, saying there is a 1,100 percent increase compared to the combined 17,640 titles, covering 26,403 hectares of farmlands, distributed to 17,549 ARBs in the last semester of the previous administration.
In the first semester of President Marcos Jr.’s administration alone, a 24 percent increase in accomplishments compared to the previous administration was observed after a total of 21,876 land titles, covering 25,159 hectares of farmlands, were distributed to 24,804 ARBs in the last semester of 2022.

These numbers grew further as a total of 69,897 land titles, covering 84,044 hectares of farmlands, distributed to 73,399 ARBs equivalent to a 296 percent in land distribution was recorded in the following year, followed by a record-breaking year in 2024 wherein the department was able to hand 102,338 land titles, covering 120,343 hectares of farmlands, to 88,087 ARBs, equivalent t 480 percent increase in distributions.
“This is a big development in our all-out war against hunger and poverty since the number of ARBs we were able to activate and motivate to till their farm lots has increased by leaps and bounds,” Estrella said.
“With more hands tilling our farmlands, we will be able to produce more and spur rural development at a much quicker pace,” he added.
From the total number of titles, the DAR was able to distribute 132,393 e-Titles covering 170,718 hectares of farmlands, to 124,651 ARBs under the Support to Parcelization of Lands for Individual Titling (SPLIT) Project and 61,718 newly generated EPs and CLOAs covering 58,828 hectares of farmlands to 61,639 ARBs under the Regular Land Acquisition and Distribution (LAD) program.

Ayon sa ulat ng Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) sa kanilang nakalap na datos sa katapusan ng 2024, nakapamahagi ang ahensya ng kabuuang 194,111 na Electronic Titles (e-Titles), Emancipation Patents (EPs), at Certificates of Land Ownership Award (CLOAs), na sumasaklaw sa 229,546 na ektarya ng mga lupang sakahan, sa 186,290 na mga Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) sa loob ng dalawa’t kalahating taon ng panunungkulan ni Pangulong Marcos Jr.
Ipinahayag ni Department of Agrarian Reform Secretary Conrado Estrella III ang malaking pag-unlad sa distribusyon ng mga titulo ng lupa sa ilalim ng administrasyong Marcos Jr. na tumaas ng 1,100 porsyento kumpara sa 17,640 titulo na sumasaklaw sa 26,403 ektarya ng lupang sakahan na naipamahagi sa 17,549 ARBs noong huling semestre ng nakaraang administrasyon.
Sa unang semestre pa lamang ng panunungkulan ni Pangulong Marcos Jr. ay nakapagtala na ng 24 porsyento sa pagtaas sa pamamahagi ng mga titulo kumpara sa nakaraang administrasyon, kung saan 21,876 na titulo ng lupa, na sumasaklaw sa 25,159 ektarya ng lupang sakahan, ang naipamahagi sa 24,804 ARBs.
Tuluyan pang tumaas ang mga bilang na ito noong sumunod na taon, kung saan nakapamahagi ng nasa 69,897 na titulo ng lupa, na sumasaklaw sa 84,044 ektarya ng lupang sakahan, sa 73,399 ARBs, na katumbas ng 296 porsyento na pagtaas sa mga titulo ng lupang naipamahagi. Sinundan ito ng makasaysayang 480 porsyentong pagtaas noong 2024, kung saan nakapamahagi ang departamento ng 102,338 na titulo ng lupa, na sumasaklaw sa 120,343 ektarya ng lupang sakahan, para sa 88,087 ARBs.
“Isa itong malaking hakbang sa ating matinding kampanya laban sa gutom at kahirapan dahil mas maraming ARBs ang aming napakilos at naengganyong linangin ang kanilang mga lupang sakahan,” ani Estrella.
“Mas maraming nagtatrabaho sa ating mga lupang sakahan, mas maraming ani, at mas mabilis nating mapapaunlad ang mga kanayunan,” dagdag niya.
Mula sa kabuuang bilang ng mga titulo, nasa 132,393 na e-Titles na sumasaklaw sa 170,718 ektarya ng lupang sakahan ang naipamahagi sa 124,651 ARBs sa ilalim ng Support to Parcelization of Lands for Individual Titling (SPLIT) Project. Samantala, nasa 61,718 na bagong EPs at CLOAs na sumasaklaw sa 58,828 ektarya ng lupang sakahan naman ang naipamahagi sa 61,639 ARBs sa ilalim ng programang Regular Land Acquisition and Distribution (LAD).
