In its effort to strengthen the implementation of the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program, a total of 126 newly appointed and promoted employees of the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) in the Bicol region took an oath before Secretary Bernie F. Cruz in a ceremony held on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at Marison Hotel Legaspi.

Cruz said the personnel was carefully selected to serve the farmers and help the DAR in bringing social justice to the countryside.

“The farmers would receive the justice they deserve by awarding landless farmers with lands to till, providing them with support services projects to enrich their lands and resolve agrarian legal issues and conflict. May we become the instruments of farmers’ triumph that would pave way for the country’s stronger agricultural sector,” he said.

Cruz reminded the personnel that effective public service does not come from education but through heart and dedication.

DAR Bicol Regional Director Rodrigo Realubit supported the Secretary's assertion and added that let their service be their legacy to the farmers.

Sa pagsusumikap ng ahensya na palakasin ang pagpapatupad sa Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program, may kabuuang 126 kawani ng Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) sa rehiyon ng Bicol ang nanumpa kay Secretary Bernie F. Cruz sa isang seremonya na ginanap noong Miyerkules, Disyembre 1, 2021, sa Marison Hotel Legaspi.

Ayon kay Cruz ang mga kawani ay masusing pinili upang serbisyuhan ang mga magsasaka at tulungan ang DAR na dalhin ang panlipunang hustisya sa mga kanayunan.

“Matatanggap ng mga magsasaka ang hustisyang nararapat, sa pamamagitan ng pagkakaloob sa mga magsasaka ng lupang matatamnan, pagbibigay ng support services projects upang mapagyaman ang kanilang lupain at pagresolba ng mga usaping legal sa agraryo. Maging instrumento sana tayo ng kanilang pag-unlad na magbibigay daan sa lalong paglakas ng sektor ng agrikultura sa bansa,” aniya.

Pinaalalahanan ni Cruz ang mga kawani na ang epektibong serbisyo publiko ay hindi lamang nagmumula sa edukasyon, kung hindi sa mula sa puso at dedikasyon.

Sinangayunan naman ni DAR Bicol Regional Director Rodrigo Realubit ang sinabi ng Kalihim at idinagdag na ang kanilang serbisyo nawa ang magsilbing pamana nila sa mga magsasaka.
