LOOK: 106 Pangasinan farmers graduate from DAR’s Farm Business School Project [PRESS RELEASE] DAR Pangasinan - FBS graduation - January 19, 2024

More than 100 graduates of the DAR Farm Business School Program pose for a photograph on their graduation day on January 19, 2024. The ARBs came from three different ARBOs in Pangasinan.

106 farmers from Pangasinan have successfully completed the Department of Agrarian Reform's (DAR) transformative Farm Business School (FBS) program, graduating with the skills and knowledge to turn their farms into profitable businesses and themselves into successful entrepreneurs.

 

The farmer-graduates hail from various agrarian reform beneficiary organizations (ARBOs) including the Baksayan Irrigators & Farmers Association, Inc. in Umingan, Aliguas Dumaralos na Buenlag, Inc. in Calasiao, and Artacho Farmers Association in Bautista.

 

The FBS teaches entrepreneurship and business management skills to ARBs. Farmer participants need to complete a total of 8 modules in 25 training sessions and submit the requirements to graduate.

 

The graduation ceremony was graced by Regional Director Maria Ana Francisco and PARPO II Charlotte Lasmarias, joined by OIC-CARPO Regente Dioneda of the Bureau of Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Development (BARBD), Bautista Municipal Agriculturist Ernesto Dorado, CARPO Estelita Archita, and ARPO II Ben Rios of the Program Beneficiaries Development Division (PBDD) of the DARPO Pangasinan. ### (Dexter Miranda/CP II)
