27 FARMERS IN PASSI CITY CELEBRATE LAND OWNERSHIP AS THEY RECEIVE LONG-AWAITED LAND TITLES
PASSI CITY, Iloilo –27 Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARB) from Barangay Dalicanan, Passi City, Iloilo, celebrated a significant milestone as they were presented with their land titles by the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Iloilo. A total of 34 titles, covering an expansive 35.9182 hectares, were distributed, marking a transformative moment for these individuals and the community.
Mr. Bonifacio Panes, an Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries, expressed heartfelt gratitude in a statement, saying, "We are thankful to DAR Iloilo that they came here personally to distribute the titles of the beneficiaries. It is our dream to have land to till and call it our own. In the time of President Ferdinand Bongbong Marcos, through the efforts of DAR, we were able to experience true agrarian reform."
A similar sentiment was echoed by Mr. Alfonso Boquiña, a 91-year-old resident of the same barangay, who shared, "I am grateful to the government and the Department of Agrarian Reform because they have given the farmers land for us to till. I am thankful to President Marcos because he resolved the agrarian reform, and we were able to obtain our titles."
These testimonials highlight not only the significance of land ownership but also the enduring impact of agrarian
reform in transforming lives and fulfilling the dreams of generations. The distribution of titles serves as a testament to the dedication of DAR Iloilo and the government in fostering agricultural prosperity and empowering Agrarian Reform Communities.
The distribution of titles was conducted by the Land Distribution Section of the Land Tenure Improvement Division and assisted by DAR Municipal Agrarian Reform Office – Passi City.

PASSI CITY, Iloilo – 27 ka mga Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARB) sa Barangay Dalicanan, Passi City, Iloilo ang nakabaton sang ila kaugalingon nga mga titulo halin sa DAR Iloilo. Ini may kalaparon nga 35.9182 ka ektarya sang lupa nga may kabugusan nga 34 ka titulo ang gin pang hatag sang damlag lamang.
Suno kay Mr. Bonifacio Panes, isa ka ARB sa nasambit nga barangay, “handom sang mga tawo diri ang pagangkon sang personal kag matuod-tuod nga duta para sa ila. Sa ti-on ni Pangulo Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr., paagi man sa DAR, natigayon nga makita namon ang matuod-tuod nga reporma sa duta.”
Sa kaangay nga mensahe, suno kay Mr. Alfonso Boquiña, naga edad 91, lubos man ang pagpasalamat sini sa gobyerno sa nabaton niya nga titulo “madamo gid nga salamat sa aton gobyerno kag sa Department of Agrarian Reform nga ginpanaw-an ang mga farmers [sang lupa]. Salamat man kay President Marcos kay gin plansar niya ang agrarian reform kag nakabu-ol kami [sang titulo].”
Paagi sa pagpanagtag sang mga titulo sa mga qualified Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries, ini magahatag sa ila sang kahigayunan nga makapanagiya sang ila kaugalingon nga lupa kag himuon nga produktibo para sa pag imprubar sang kalidad sang ila nga pagpangabuhi.
Ang pagpanagtag sang mga titulo gin patigayon sang Land Distribution Section sang Land Tenure Improvement Division kaupod ang DAR Municipal Agrarian Reform Office – Passi City.
