On Valentine’s Day, employees of the Department of Agrarian Reform Pangasinan attended the Exit Conference of the recently concluded, one-day, on-site Records Management Audit in the Region I. The Audit Team was composed of Records Officers and Chief Administrative Officers from the Central Office, Regional Office, and Provincial Offices of Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, and La Union.

Ilocos Region Records Officer Perlita B. Valdez, who presented the Audit Report, commended several good practices of DAR Pangasinan, such as digitalizing hard copies of records and documents to ensure their security and posterity.

Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer II Charlotte F. Lasmarias extended her heartfelt gratitude not only to the employees who helped make the audit a success, but also to the auditors.

“Dahil sa inyo, lalo pa po kaming mag-iimprove. Lahat ng reviews tine-take namin as challenge para mas maganda ang magiging serbisyo namin. Maraming maraming salamat po,” PARPO II Lasmarias said.

The Records Management Audit is also being conducted by other regions in the country to maintain a streamlined records management system in the Department. (za)
