Support services intensified, Caraga finishes 3-day training-workshop on ARC and ARCC development plan preparation.

As part of the Support Services Office's initiative to strengthen and raise the Agrarian Reform Communities (ARCs) throughout the country, Caraga field implementers are steadily on its way to accomplishing such as it successfully conducted a 3-day training-workshop on ARC and ARC Cluster (ARCC) Development Plan preparation which ran from February 27-29, 2024 at VCDU Hotel, Butuan City.
 
OIC-Assistant Regional Director Joie L. Ceballos welcomed the participants by imparting the significance of this activity as it will enable and further uplift the economic standing of the farmer beneficiaries, and all other farmers concerned, situated within the ARC by ensuring all the necessary support services will be properly identified and timely delivered.
 
OIC-Project Development Officer V, Ma. Susan Perez, serving as one of the resource persons along with Mr. Eulogio Penales, also emphasized that in carefully crafting the ARC/ARCC development plan, it can provide a holistic and dynamic approach in addressing the concerns of the farmers beneficiaries in the particular area.
 
Regional Director Atty. Merlita S. Capinpuyan extends her gratitude to the resource persons for granting the Caraga employees this invaluable opportunity of increasing their capacity to serve the farmer beneficiaries. She also address the participants by stating that hopefully what they will learn, they can truly apply in the field.
 
She expressed, "We are now ready more than ever to further step-up our holistic approach to the farmer beneficiaries. And all these data only show we have so much potential to widen our reach and extend our help."
 
As such, the ARC/ARCC Development Plan shall ensure the proper identification of specific developmental goals targeted within the area such as the increase of income of farmer beneficiaries through increased agricultural production.
 
Aimed at also training the participants in the various approaches the Central Office, it will definitely help in increasing the impact of agrarian reform not only within the region, but in the entire country.
