DAR WV Holds Oathtaking Ceremony for 129 Newly Hired and Promoted Employees

In celebration of their professional development, the Department of Agrarian Reform Region VI conducted an oathtaking ceremony for newly hired and promoted employees, filling vacancies to complement the workforce of DAR in Western Visayas. Held on March 25, 2024, at Diversion 21 Hotel in Iloilo City, the ceremony marked another significant milestone for DAR Western Visayas, with a total of 129 individuals taking their oath of office. Atty. Quintin O. Magsico, Jr., Assistant Secretary for Finance and Management Office (FMAO) for Finance and Management Service (FMS) and Procurement-Related Services, administered the oath.

In his address to the oathtakers, ASEC Magsico emphasized the solemnity of the oath they have taken. He emphasized the importance of their commitment to serving as faithful stewards of the people, particularly the farmers. Regardless of whether they are advancing in their careers or embarking on their journey in public service, they must uphold this commitment.

Further, ASEC Magsico encouraged the oathtakers to maintain their unwavering dedication in their service to the beneficiaries, emphasizing the resilience required to face the challenges they may encounter. "In your daily tasks as officials and employees of DAR, may your feet never tire of traversing the difficult roads that lead to our beneficiaries as we serve continuously and tirelessly," he added.

RD Sheila B. Enciso echoed this sentiment in her message, highlighting the resilience of DAR personnel. "DAR people are resilient people. We are always under trials, but we always stand triumphant in the end," she stated.

Of the total oath takers, two (2) were Division Chiefs, Sixteen (16) were Municipal Agrarian Reform Officers (MARPOs), and 111 were SG 19 and below. The ceremony was attended by regional and provincial officials of DAR Region VI, who witnessed the celebrated occasion.
