SPLIT News - DAR REGION 1 SPLIT PROJECT Progress Examined Through 1ST Quarter Assessment
City of San Fernando, La Union - DAR Region 1 officials and employees actively participated in the conduct of the First Quarter Assessment of the SPLIT Project held at EM Royalle Hotel and Resort, San Juan, La Union on 16-18 April 2024.
The activity aims to examine the progress of DAR Region 1’s activities and programs under the SPLIT Project. Specifically, matters regarding SPLIT Project data and updates, the DAR-LRA Joint Administrative Order, Operational Directives, and other pertinent matters were discussed extensively.
DAR Region 1 Regional Director Maria Ana B. Francisco, CESO V, emphasized the importance of evaluating the current status of the implementation of the SPLIT Project in DAR Region 1, noting the need for accurate and systematic assessment to enhance public service provision to the beneficiaries and ensure the smooth and efficient implementation of the project.
PARPO II and Project Manager Christianne C. Suguitan, CESO V of DAR Provincial Project Management Office – La Union, PARPO II and Project Manager Charlotte F. Lasmarias of DAR Provincial Project Management Office – Pangasinan, PARPO II and Project Manager Engr. Vic M. Ines of DAR Provincial Project Management Office – Ilocos Sur and Ilocos Norte, and RARAD Atty. Marivic C. Casabar of the DAR Adjudication Board (DARAB) Region I, also partook in the event. They keenly shared their knowledge and expertise on the topics tackled in the event and provided substantial insights and recommendations to further enhance the implementation of the project.
Momentously, officials from DARAB Region 1 were also awarded at the event, serving as a short continuation of the recently concluded Gawad GADtimpala of DAR Region 1. The unwavering perseverance and significant accomplishments of PARAD Atty. Jedidiah Martin Lauraya of DARAB Pangasinan, PARAD Atty. Doris Briones of DARAB La Union, PARAD Atty. Armi Christie Pe-Benito of DARAB Ilocos Sur and Ilocos Norte, and RARAD Atty. Marivic C. Casabar of DAR Region 1 was acknowledged at the event.
To formally conclude the event, DAR Region 1 Regional Director Maria Ana B. Francisco, CESO V noted, “The Success of One, Is the Success of DAR Region 1,” highlighting that each accomplishment of DAR Region 1 employees, officials, and offices serves as pride and triumph of the whole DAR Region 1.
The SPLIT Project 1st Quarter Assessment exhibits DAR Region 1’s commitment to ensuring the effective and efficient implementation of the project. It is a step towards fulfilling the department’s mandate and materializing one of the major goals of the SPLIT Project, which is to improve land tenure security and stabilize the property rights of the project’s beneficiaries.
