DAR-Ifugao Turns over FMEs to Tupaya Agrarian Reform Farmers Organization Inc.

 
On March 19, 2024, the Department of Agrarian Reform-Ifugao turned over Farm Machinery and Equipment (FME) to the Tupaya Agrarian Reform Farmers Organization Inc. (TARFO Inc.) in Brgy. Tupaya, Lagawe, Ifugao. The FMEs comprised 3 units of rotavator, 2 units of water pump, 4 units of brush cutter, and 3 units of knapsack sprayer valued at Php 275,100.
 
William P. Luguibis, President of TARFO Inc., expressed gratitude for the department's support, which included not only FME provision but also farm inputs and training programs. He emphasized the significance of these resources in advancing the organization's progress.
 
Barangay Captain, Irene G. Hoggang, also conveyed her appreciation to the department for bringing such assistance to their barangay. She reminded the members and her constituents, to ensure proper maintenance of the FMEs.
 
The activity also included the signing of a Trust Agreement and Memorandum of Agreement between the Department of Agrarian Reform-Ifugao and TARFOI, to further solidify their collaborative efforts towards enhancing rice and corn productivity and uplift farmers' living condition in the barangay.
