Sultan Kudarat ARBs receive farm machineries and inputs

The Department of Agrarian Reform turns over farm machineries and farm inputs to increase the farm yields of Green MPC in the province of Sultan Kudarat.

Isulan, Sultan Kudarat— The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) in Sultan Kudarat turned over farm machineries and farm inputs to agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) to help them increase their farm yields.

The ARB members from Green Multi-Purpose Cooperative (Green MPC) located in New Pangasinan, Isulan, received a hand tractor with trailer, floating tiller, power tiller, traveling rice mill and 4WD tractor (40Hp), worth P1.5-million as part of the DAR-Climate Resilient Farm Productivity Support Project for Major Crop-Based Farming (CRFPSP-MCBF).

The DAR also supplied 50 sacks of complete fertilizer (14-14-14) worth P100,000.00, along with 50 pieces of shovel and 50 pieces of lagaraw (curved large heavy knife), valued at P75,000.00, under the Farm Field School for Rice.

Lobin Biñas, Chairman of Green MPC, expressed his gratitude to the DAR for its support of their livelihood.

“Thank you to the DAR as this will help our organization and our families. Rest assured that we will help each other in ensuring the longevity of these farm machineries and farm inputs and that it will be put to good use,” Biñas said.

Assistant Regional Director H. Roldan A. Ali, Al-hajj commended the Green MPC and emphasized the importance of maintaining the farm machineries.

“Keep up your good practices in your organization as it will help create avenues for you to acquire more support services, as the DAR, particularly with the support of CRFPSP-MCBF, will consistently assist you for the betterment of your organization,” Ali said.

CRFPSP-MCBF aims to enhance and sustain the agricultural productivity of agrarian reform communities as an adaptation measure toward climate change resiliency.

Members of the Provincial Agrarian Reform Coordinating Committee (PARCCOM) in Sultan Kudarat were also present to witness the turnover ceremony and committed to monitoring the implementation of DAR Projects in the said province, including the farm equipment and inputs provided under CRFPSP-MCBF Project and Farm Field School for Rice.

Mga ARB sa Sultan Kudarat tumanggap ng mga makinarya at kagamitang pangsaka

Isulan, Sultan Kudarat— Nagkaloob ang Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) sa Sultan Kudarat ng mga makinaryang at mga kagamitang pangsaka sa mga agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) upang matulungan silang madagdagan ang kanilang mga aanihin.

Ang mga miyembrong ARB mula sa Green Multi-Purpose Cooperative (Green MPC) na matatagpuan sa New Pangasinan, Isulan, ay nakatanggap ng hand tractor na may trailer, floating tiller, power tiller, traveling rice mill at 4WD tractor (40Hp), na nagkakahalaga ng P1.5 milyon bilang bahagi ng DAR-Climate Resilient Farm Productivity Support Project for Major Crop-Based Farming (CRFPSP-MCBF).

Nagkaloob din ang DAR ng 50 sako ng kumpletong pataba (14-14-14) na nagkakahalagang P100,000.00, kasama ang 50 piraso ng pala at 50 piraso ng Lagaraw, na nagkakahalaga ng 75,000.00, sa ilalim ng Farm Field School for Rice.

Nagpasalamat sa DAR si Lobin Biñas, Chairman ng Green MPC, dahil sa suportang ipinagkaloob nito sa kanilang kabuhayan.

“Salamat po sa DAR dahil makatutulong ito sa aming samahan at sa aming mga pamilya. Asahan po ninyo na magtutulungan kami upang magtagal ang mga tulong na naibigay ninyo at magamit ito ng maayos,” ani Biñas.

Pinuri naman ni Assistant Regional Director H. Roldan A. Ali, Al-hajj ang Green MPC at binigyang diin ang halaga ang pag-aalaga sa mga makinarya.

“Ipagpatuloy ninyo ang inyong nga mabuting gawain sa inyong organisasyon dahil ito ay magdudulot ng iba pang daan upang makatanggap kayo ng mga suportang serbisyo, dahil ang DAR, partikular na ang CRFPSP-MCBF, ay patuloy kayong aalalayan para sa ikabubuti ng inyong samahan,” ani Ali.

Layunin ng CRFPSP-MCBF na maisaayos at mapabuti ang produktibidad sa agrikultura ng mga agrarian reform communities bilang hakbang sa pagbagay patungo sa katatagan sa pagbabago-bago ng klima.

Dumalo rin ang mga miyembro ng Provincial Agrarian Reform Coordinating Committee (PARCCOM) sa Sultan Kudarat upang saksihan ang seremonya at nangakong susubaybayan ang implementasyon ng mga proyekto ng DAR sa lalawigan, kasama na rito ang mga makinarya at kagamitang pangsaka na ipinagkaloob ng CRFPSP-MCBF Project at Farm Field School for Rice.
