The completed Communal Irrigation System Sub-Project that includes dam modification, construction of 4.881 kilometers rectangular concrete canal and 16 units canal structures has a total combined amount of Php16,268,948.52. Usec. Mallari also led the turn-over of the said sub-project to the recipient organization, Malagap Irrigation Association, Incorporated.

Malagap IA President Tito Gella, said that they are thankful to the DAR-MinSAAD project for addressing their struggle of having poor irrigation facility in their area. “We are always spending more time clearing the waterways and repairing the earth canal at least four times a month because of the dirt and eroded soil that hampered the flow of water going to our rice paddies,” Gella said. Now that it was already enhanced by the project Gella said, “we can now spend more time in our farm activities instead of spending more time clearing and repairing the damage earth canals.”
